HELP SAVE BRONSON!
The Issue
On the 13th of September 2015, officers from the West Yorkshire police department, came to the address of which Bronson lives at, they knocked on the door and rung the door bell for around 5 to 10 minutes. As any dog does, Bronson was barking, he wanted to know who was knocking at his door. Bronsons owner answered the door, and Bronson ran out to investigate who it was. The police officer that had been knocking on the door had made his way out of the fenced and gated garden by this time, LEAVING THE GATE OPEN! An alarmed Bronson ran out of the garden and bit the police officer on his rear end. The police had a batton upto Bronson by this point provoking him. All visitors to the property are made aware there is a dog at the property by a sign informing them on he door & gate. Bronson is a Staffordshire bull terrier dog, he is 2 years old, his birthday is the 3rd of December 2012. He is a lovely, sweet, well trained and well behaved dog. He kisses people to death. He loves to snuggle up to his owners, he's always been around adults and children. He's a family dog, and a huge part of his family. He's never acted in this way before, the only reason as to why we think he did this, is he must of been anxious and alarmed at how aggressively the police officer was knocking on the door. He was only protecting his family and home. The West Yorkshire police came to seize Bronson on the 14th of September 2015, when the police came to take him, they did not knock on the door aggressively like last time, bronson was being his normal friendly self, wagging his tail, not showing any aggression whatsoever. He has been seized for one month, In that time his owner will have to appear in court, when the court will decide bronsons fate. Bronsons owners are willing to do what ever it takes to make sure an incident like this never happens again. PLEASE HELP US GET BRONSON HOME SAFE AND SOUND!
