Bradford Council has a plan to destroy the Tong and Fulneck Valley with their plan to build 2,700 houses, a link road, and 'industrial sites'.
If you haven't already seen Bradford Council (in the middle of the summer break!) launched a number of consultations on their proposal, for which £1.2m has already been allocated for a feasibility study.
This is despite revising their Core Strategy and significantly reducing their housing target for the whole district and claiming to be adopting a brownfield first policy.
There are enough brownfield sites in Bradford to deliver the new housing target WITHOUT touching the protected Greenbelt of the Tong Valley.
Despite our previous objections they STILL are pushing forward with their plans to destroy the Tong and Fulneck Valley .

Now it is time to have our say!! We need to make our voices heard and that means as many of us as possible responding to the consultation which is open until 24th September 2019 and signing this petition that the government could see if we get enough signatures.

Please sign and share this petition to stop Tong and Fulneck Valley, which is such a beautiful place that's home to so much wildlife and livestock, being destroyed. Not to mention there's not enough facilities to accommodate all these new people; they only plan to build houses and industrial sites, no schools or doctors offices, we're already overrun with people.
