Blayds Bar has successfully used the space in Blayds Yard to serve outdoors as required by lockdown measures using their limited allowance of event licenses they can apply for annually. In order to continue to operate in this way they now need be granted an outdoor license by Leeds City Council.

We request that the Licensing department of LCC grant the license at least temporarily until the end of all lockdown measures to allow a vital part of the Leeds LGBTQ+ community to continue to provide its safe space to its loyal customer base.

As previously demonstrated Blayds Bar can operate in Blayds Yard safely, in full compliance with measure required under the Covid 19 pandemic without causing an interference or nuisance to surrounding businesses or residences.
