Will Lee Seung Gi play his part?  Please Speak Out Against the South Korean Dog Meat Trade!

The votes are in, and Lee Seung Gi has been named as one of the top actors from South Korea; we congratulate him, this is a great achievement! And he must feel honored to have that ‘star quality’ recognized by so many people - and not just in his own country.

But we also recognize that as a public, and popular figure, Lee Seung Gi can now take centre stage on another, very important, role.  We are imploring him to stand up, to speak out, and to publicly denounce the dog and cat-meat trades in his country, South Korea.

There is no limit to the cruelty and abuse that is carried out within these shameful trades, and there is nothing that these traders won’t do to turn a profit.  But there must be a limit on how long these aberrant trades can be allowed to continue.
