Each year communities across our nation purchase large amounts of Chinese fireworks for the Fourth of July.  While these displays are beautiful, China continues to allow the ugly Yulin Dog Slaughter Festival where every June 10-15,000 dogs are cruelly tortured to death for their meat.  Sadly these people believe that the more terrified, or in pain the dog is when it dies, the better the meat tastes.  Despite international outrage over this festival, the Chinese government has refused to stop this practice.  We must demand communities and individuals across our nation to take a stand against this festival by boycotting Chinese-made fireworks.  No more Chinese fireworks until China stops the Yulin Dog Slaughter Festival!
