Wild animals belong in the wild. Period. Goebbert's Farm, located in Barrington, Illinois, claims to have "... a large array of exotic animals such as camels, kangaroos, llamas, zebras, tigers, bear cubs, lions and even a giraffe or two. We have birds from around the globe including owls, macaws, and toucans." These animals are kept in tiny cages, that are not large enough for these animals to be comfortable. These animals are not protected from the elements, since they are only sheltered by a tent. 

The animals are not properly supervised by staff. Children taunt, scream, and throw things at the animals, without any consequences. Many of the animals show signs of extreme stress, and discomfort. 

Bottom line, these animals are not well cared for, and they are not meant to be exploited for profit. These are sentient creatures who deserve to be treated with love and respect. 

The animals at Goebbert's Farm do not teach children anything about how to love and protect these animals. In this case, it is clear to see that money comes before the animal's health and safety. 

It is time to find a new way of raising money. Hundreds of more people would come and support Goebbert's if they chose not to use these animals for profit purposes. Stop exploiting these beautiful animals!
