Good Day and Happy New Year!

The goal is to reverse the new $3 "Admin Fee" to cross a LeeWay toll bridge. This business decision was passed by the Lee County Government recently without asking our opinion first. They are requiring us to purchase one of thier transponders to receive the original toll amount. I do not believe that we should HAVE to buy anything we don't want to or can't afford. If it's a requirement for us to use one then they should be responsible for issuing each of us one free of charge. 

 There are several citizens that have to commute over these bridges for work and employers are not going to give them a "toll allowance" on top of what they get paid. A lot of those citizens are college and highschool students who may not be able to afford a transponder. 

 It seems to me that the Lee County "Government" hasn't noticed that we're miserably walking into the next recession. This of all times is the worst to do this to us. They tell us that this fee is to compensate for them mailing the bills out. 

 - we've all had these bills mailed to us. It doesn't cost them $3 to mail out two sheets of paper. Their postage is free.

 We have a voice with this petition. We can make a change. If you feel the same and would like to get the $3 admin fee reversed, then I invite you to have your voice heard! Please sign my petition.
