Tell Dajae's story and give something for his funeral

Dajae was a succesful kid that graduated middle school as a 7th and 8th grade honor roll student. Not only that, but he was always nice to everyone, and he always brought a smile to everyone's face. He was a great friend to everyone. But Dajae especially loved basketball. Everyone thought that he would become famous with his number three jersey. And his idol was always LeBron. No matter what anyone said, he was on LeBron's side, defending him. He would have been overjoyed to meet him. Then, on Saturday, September 22, in Evanston IL, his hometown, Dajae was walking down the street around 10:30 PM when he was walking with his friends, 4 shots were fired, one of which fatally wounding Dajae in his chest. We still don't know why such a nice and prosperous kid's life was cut short. This might just be another shooting, but for Evanston, a suburb of Chicago, we are all mourning his death. Unfortunately, it took a killing for our City to understand the impact of gun violence. Now we want the world to understand that we must stop this violence before it hits another community, and they realize the impact of it too. We would like for LeBron to give to the family, but then also spread this story to make people understand what we have gone through, and how gun control can make sure this doesn't happen in another person's neighborhood. Please sign this petition so we can get the word out, and stop this horrible violence that has taken a wonderful person from our community.
