Lots of people have dogs, lots of people visit Federation Park, lots of people like to take their dogs to Federation Park. Understandably lots of people don't want dogs roaming freely in the park.

If a fenced leash free area for dogs is supplied all parties will be happy, but especially the dogs who can have their runaround. They will be tired out, making them more obedient for interaction with others who don't necessarily like dogs.

The area proposed is in the South east corner of the park

The dogs social needs will be met, the general park users will be happy and the dog owners will have all their needs met, for doggy free time, exercise for themselves and utilizing park amenities with their best friends.
