Learning Curve Brands, Inc. for Johnny Lightning: Create diecast cars of the Ford Festiva (1988-93) and Aspire (1994-97)
The Issue
The Ford Festiva and Aspire were manufactured for the USA between 1987 and 1997. These cars were also marketed globally under different names such as the Mazda 121 and Kia Pride. They were reliable, economical and easy to maintain.
The history of the Festiva and Aspire can be found on Wikipedia. Or by clicking on the link below:

Many of these vehicles are still on the road, most of which get better gas mileage than a hybrid and have a fan base similiar to the VW Beetle.
There is a website called www.fordfestiva.com. This site has close to 11,000 members who are dedicated to keeping the Festiva and Aspire on the road. There are also many car meets across the USA that Festiva/Aspire owners attend.
On the East Coast, there is a car meet called Festiva Madness. (www.festivamadness.com). This car meet draws attendees from all over North America and is the largest gathering of Festiva/Aspire owners.
By creating a diecast replica of these cars, you will be directly targeting an untapped market! There are a few rare toys created in the likeness of the Festiva and they are extremely hard to find. We, as Festiva and Aspire owners are requesting a diecast replica be created of our vehicles in 1:18 and 1:64 scale so we can collect and display them accordingly.
