Learning cajun french
The Issue
I am Louisiana cajun, my elders speak cajun but we have lost our way as a current generation it is sad to say that our culture is publicized by a holiday and seasoning, we are much more than one city and a spice, our ancestors were forced to speak and learn English in a new environment which inevitably started the decay of our language though few of our people still speak it, but there aren’t any classes or educational courses available to the youth that cherish and still partake in our traditions. I would like to have the option for our youth to take extra curricular courses.
