Like a lot of school they are trying to make school more controllable with children not allowed to wear a pair of earrings even if there rubber clear studs for safety purpose, children not allowed to go to toilet even if there on there monthly to change, given detentions for small issues like talking what ever happened to just asking a child to stop talking as your trying to learn, teachers speaking to our children like they have something over them and are entitled to speak to them like absolute rubbish, trying to fine us for taking our children away once a year but can’t put our children in reflection/triage or whatever other schools call it to do no work for little reasons for like not following the above rules I think we need to do something because my daughter has missed over a week at school because they keep trying to put my daughter in reflection for her having clear rubber studs in but threat to fine me for taking her away for 5 days. School are causing children to suffer with mental health and we need to make a stand and stop this. Every school needs rules but having earrings in, not being able to go toilet, lining up in the morning to be checked you have the right uniform no piercings it’s like a army base not a education facility children should be happy going to school not have anxiety every time they think about it. Ofsted, welfare of education, govnors do absolutely nothing to help.
