Title... Champ was in a fine spot, with a fine play rate (around 5%), a fine banrate (below 4%) and a fine winrate (oscillating around 49-51%).

Why would they tweak/rework the champ to be another pro jail champ? nobody asked for this, the changes made her extremely broken while also making her unsatisfying to play and killed her whole scaling identity while she wasn't even a top 30 scaling champ (look at kayle and nilah sporting 52-54% winrates and going up to 57+ in 30min+ games being fine).

Nobody asked for these changes, go to the Gwen mains sub reddit... Hope this champ gets the LeBlanc or Rengar treatment (reverted their abysmally bad reworks), but by the looks of it the balance team "is never wrong" and if it ever happens it will be in 2 years when the game is dead after corporate takes over.

There's way more if you keep digging... Its infuriating how they do extremely unhealthy changes to a champ and believe they did well instead of listening to the community or players that actually play the champ.

They need to revert her entire rework to keep her identity as a scaling champion and if they don't like the full AP nuke builds they should nerf her old AP scalings a bit and compensate with HP scalings, mainly on passive damage and W resistances to encourange bruiser playstyles... Its literally one ecuation system away to land in decent numbers.
