Family Law Courts for Alimony & Child Support Laws should not be bios and have time limits
The Issue
Alimony:
Canada has way too many Deadbeat Parents for one reason, the laws are bios toward men, and alienation of parents is very common, producing as a result dysfunctional families and parents with rights but no responsibilities associated. The no fault laws of the Family Law system in Canada, USA and UK need to have time limits, helping the parent with the lowest income for a pre-set period of time, but not in a permanent manner, creating one divorcee to become the financial slave of the other one for indefinite time. Help is ok one people get divorce, but self sufficiency and independence should be enforced on the person depending on the working party.
Child Support:
It should be split 50% of the time among both parents. Period. And if one parent is paying child support the alimony should not be in place as the working party is left with no income to survive and is forced to live with his/her older parents in most cases. If no immediate family is near by, the person is forced to be in need to leave the country and or the province, giving as a result a parent that no longer can protect and model for his/her kids. Both aprent should be responsible of the financial education of the kids.
