Please ask Le Vacherin restaurant in Chiswick to stop selling Foie Gras. 

They have ignored polite attempts in the past to communicate on the issue.

The production of foie gras is so barbaric and horrifying that it has been banned in 16 countries.

Foie Gras is the fatty, diseased liver of geese and ducks, and restaurants include it on their menus as a 'delicacy'.

The birds are cruelly subjected to force feeding with large pipes twice a day which causes their livers to become diseased and swell up to 10 times their normal size. 

This vicious 'food' production is banned in the UK, but restaurants import from abroad.

Production of this so-called ‘delicacy’ causes unimaginable suffering to millions of birds each year.

These intelligent and sensitive animals endure severe physical and psychological pain throughout their short lives.

There are plans in place in the UK to now ban the importation of Foie Gras as its production is recognised as being extremely brutal and savage.

La Vacherin needs to lead the way in withdrawing its support of this despicable 'delicacy'.

Restaurants like Le Vacherin need to put compassion before profit and show that Foie Gras has no place in our modern, civilised society.
