Liquor Control Board of Ontario has stopped the import of Turkish Raki brands of "Yeni Raki"and "Efe Raki". They are not even searchable in their online database. In the recent months, they have completely ceased selling these much-loved products in all their stores when, in the past, we have always found our beloved bottles in every branch. There is a clear demand for Raki in Ontario and even other provinces the Turkish Canadian communities can be found. We are tired and not even able to travel to Quebec to find our national drink anymore whilst other communities can find their national drinks in LCBO stores.

Turkish Canadians love this drink and it makes families,friends and whole communities come together and feel connected. There is no other drink that can replace Raki in the world.

We, Turkish Canadians, urge LCBO authorities to bring back Turkish Raki!!! And we, not only ask for these aforementioned brands, we now also want "Tekirdag Raki" on the store shelves!!!
