Cristo Foufas is a passionate defender of LBGT rights. During his 6 and a half year time as a radio host he put homophobic callers in their place that had made jaw dropping claims about LGBT people. More importantly, he was the number one voice on radio for providing comfort and hope for many people who felt marginalized in society. With his blend of sharp witty humour he educated and entertained an ever increasing audience base and provided a fantastic platform for people to open up about their experiences.

In one of many unforgettable moments, Cristo helped a gay man to come out, in a touching piece. The man called Dominic talked of how he "felt different to all the rest". During the call he said “It seems like you’re totally alone in a world where everyone else is different and you are the freak, you’re the weirdo, and you’re disgusting in a way”.

Since Cristo's departure from LBC there is a void left for listeners who feel left out, alone and isolated. It's time for him to return; especially during these uncertain times. Bring Cristo back to LBC!
