Say no to Betfred, the Roman deserves better not betting
The Issue
PA/17/00458 is a planning application to change the use of one of the shops on the Roman to become a betting shop.
The application goes against planning policies SP01 because it loses potential shop space and SO10, promoting healthy neighbourhoods.
We believe that this will do nothing for the health of our high street and will damage the community.
