On December 14th, 2020, Kirby Hocutt announced he will be retaining Matt Wells as Head Football Coach for Texas Tech University after a 4-6 season, it's 5th consecutive losing season. It was at this moment we realized Kirby Hocutt was not putting the University's best interest first. Having breached his fiduciary responsibility to the Texas Tech Athletic department, the only remaining option for the University is to move on and find an Athletic Director who is a true Fearless Champion!
