On December of 2019 I was pulled over for running a red light. I was pulled out of my car, informing the officer that I was licensed to carry. As I informed him he stated that my car smelled like marijuana. I told the officer that I haven’t smoke marijuana in years. While being detained the officer smacked my passenger phone out her, telling her she couldn’t record. The officer then returned to me asked where my Gun was and I told him. Being that he couldn’t find it he informed me that he was going to charged me with a DUI. The officer stated that because I had empty cans which I explained that purpose for having them. One for an ashtray and one for my loogies because I had the flu at the time. He did not care. On March 16, 2020  the first day of my trial the common wealth asked for a continuance due to the police officer failing to appear. Due to COVID-19 I haven’t had a court date since. I have been reaching out to the public defender office to request for a trial or to push to have the case dismissed. Today is January 27, 2021.
