A few weeks ago, somebody purposely shot our cat, Missy. She hadn’t done anything wrong, but somebody, and I won’t reveal who, killed her. Because this person still won’t admit. Yes, she was on his property, but she was just sitting in the driveway. She wasn’t in his way. Then, I did some research, and apparently, where I am, that’s legal as long as it’s on his property. Seriously? Our cats are OUTDOOR cats. Now we have to make them indoor. My cat, Mister, can’t go outside anymore because of this incident. There isn’t even a fine! This hurt me, because she was a very special cat. She was so sweet and literally never did anything wrong. If this person had a problem with our cat, shouldn’t he have said something? We shouldn’t have to fear our animals safety from people. Shouldn’t there have been some punishment? You can’t just kill others peoples animals just because they are on your property. This shouldn’t be legal. There has to be something done.
