I recently became the victim of revenge porn by my son's father. He manipulated me into sending intimate photos and then shared them with a bunch of people in a group chat. Most of these people I don't know. I contacted the local police in Tennessee where I live hoping to get some help with this. I was swiftly turned down and basically told "maybe you shouldn't have sent anything." This was someone I trusted and never thought I'd be betrayed by him. I'm hoping to bring enough light to this situation so it will be prosecuted, and future incidents can hopefully be prevented. I don't want future victims to feel as small and as intimidated as I did, like there is no hope at all.
