Martin William Allen, a Charlotte County Deputy of 21 years was arrested on February 14, 2021. In a chaotic arrest, he wasn’t read his Miranda rights and was taken, dazed and confused, to be interrogated. He is a decorated and loyal servant of the people who had dedicated his life to the service of Charlotte County. He worked long hours taking calls of service, teaching in the classroom, and training new police in the field. He took care of his mother in his off time and often did work for charity, including several Special Olympic Torch Runs. He is also proficient in Martial Arts and has happily sacrificed his personal life to serve the community, only finding his now fiancée in 2019.

Investigators say, Martin William Allen, 41, allegedly communicated inappropriately online with someone he believed to be 15 years old. It was discovered sometime later that the account belonging to Mr. Allen, (that had not been accessed by him in many years) which was used to contact the alleged victim, had in fact, been accessed by someone living in the Tampa Bay Area during a time that Mr. Allen could not access the internet.

Documents have come to light revealing that the same account was accessed and posted during a time when Mr. Allen was in a mental Hospital under constant surveillance. 

The prosecution simply refuses to take any of this evidence into consideration. Pining for votes, AMIRA D. FOX will hear none of it. To her, this is another ‘win’ to go on her website because that is what this is about, Winning. Winning and votes. This case is one of more e particularly interesting, considering Mrs. Fox serves on the Shelter for Abused Women and Children board. Though this is admirable, it does not allow her to have evidence disregarded. Evidence that could keep an innocent man from prison.

In an anti-cop society, the pro-tolerance social environment we have consistently looked down upon those who give up their time and sometimes their lives, to protect the local citizenry and make sure we all can sleep well at night. Mr. Allen is being unjustly prosecuted simply for being a police officer. The proof that more than Mr. Allen had access to this old account is available, yet the prosecution will not consider it whatsoever and thus an innocent man, who has faithfully served his community for 21 years, is looking at prison time.  On the 25 of this month, Mr. Allen goes before the Judge. This needs to be seen by the Judge and the courts.

Is this how we want our justice system to function? Politics and votes have no place in the courtroom. Lady Justice is blind, but not to evidence. Let the Prosecution and Judge Donald Mason know what’s going on. Don’t let this be the norm for our children. For our future. For our great country.
