are you aware that there is no law in india to punish corrupted pharmaceutical companies and doctors who are involved in such activities?

Whereas, every single individual is vulnerable to be victim of this crime, governments choose to remain silent. The consequences of having no law to punish such criminals are,

1. patients have to buy costly medicine, because of this hospital bills are beyond our limits.
2. short term and long term impact on patients safety 
3. takes away patients access to better healthcare
4. government have to spend more to achieve his healthcare targets 
5. and many....

Companies like Astrazeneca is paying huge amount to doctors to get boost their sales of costly  diabetes medicine (costing 55 rupees per tablet/day). for many doctors every month VIP movie tickets with family is usual. the dirty business gives them so much confident that they have started to misuse patients prescription to gain sales numbers. "CRM" customers relationship management activities  reported falsely just to pay money to the doctors. i know this because i have worked as medical representative with Astrazeneca in Mumbai but been harassed and asked to leave organisation just because i oppose this.

Since last 17 months i am fighting alone against this but government is not helping, the only reply i am getting "we have UCPMP (Uniform code for pharmaceutical marketing practices)" surprisingly this code is voluntary and their is no official government body to regulate it.

In RTI they refer me complaint it to OPPI (organisation of pharmaceutical producers in india) but they refused to help and said we don't accept complaints from individuals but only from pharmaceuticals organisation.

Dop (Department of pharmaceutical) is not taking any responsibility and not replying to any of my emails. though i have submitted the audio clip of  acknowledgment  from my colleagues to company,OPPI and DOP  that my allegations are real, but they all avoiding it. 

Prime minister Narendra modi's statement over nexus between doctors and pharmaceuticals firms in london 2018 march, was criticised by indian doctors. where PM said "doctors gets paid to prescribe medicine and attends conferences in abroad to promote companies medicine". indicates that our leader is well aware about situation.

I request Narendra modi ji (PMO), chairperson at NITI AAYOG where the proposed law to punish corrupt pharmaceuticals and doctors is languishing since 2015, please review and approve it.
