A week ago today we brought you home from the BCSO Brevard County Animal Shelter you were heartworm postive, you took medicine twice a day for it. You would get winded trying to get on my bed because of it. You stole my whole heart and my four childrens heart. But last night changed everything. Last night you got out and an hour later I found you two blocks from home in the mans front yard but you were already gone. When I got to you I got two different stories of what happened to you. So we brought you home and waited for answers. This morning they came to our home to pick you up and I was told you bite a man and his chihuahua while they were on their bike. But when I asked to see reports of the incident they told me the person who was injured was no longer cooperating and they had not yet seeked medical attention and the dog had not been seen by a vet yet which this was 10 hours after the incident. I was told the man feared for his life so he kicked you until you dropped and then sat on you until you stopped breathing. I was issued tickets for the incident and told that I can fight them and if the person who supposedly got attacked and their dog didnt show up to court all charges and tickets would be dropped but nothing more would be done. I live in Melbourne beach FL I moved down here 6 months ago for a better life for me and my family I went to the humane society and found him and wanted to give him a better life but now because he is a pitbull no one is looking into it no one is seeing that there is red flags. Myself and my family get to suffer and the blame is on us because he is a pitbull and someone judged him for his breed over looking at him has a missing dog and beat him until he stopped breathing and now that he is gone no one wants to help me and no one wants to get justice for him. Myself and my family deserve justice he was a sweet loving boy he wanted nothing more then someone to just love him and pet but instead of that a man killed my dog and now nothing is being done and it is being ignored and pushed to the side because the man said he feared for his life and because he is a pitbull. All I want is the truth and justice for my dog and my family. He didnt deserve this and neither did my family! Please share!!
