We want the government of Curaçao to make a law to ban the use of single use plastic, raise taxes on plastic disposables and lower taxes on biodegradable and durable articles replacing them.
Promote the use of durable shopping bags, cloth bags for fruit and vegetables, bring your own cup to the coffee shop, your own milkshake cup to the fastfood restaurant, bring durable cutlery to the beach and take it back home to wash and reuse it. Bring your own food container instead of using styrofoam food containers and stop using plastic straws in your drink! The amount of plastic in the oceans is immense!!
If we all participate, the earth and the oceans will be clean again and the animals and the people will live healthy.
