VICTORY IS NEAR, BUT NOT GUARANTEED FOR THE MINDEN DAYCARE CENTRE!!! I can only imagine what this week was like for those affected parents, children and staff. But what you have seen this week is that this community cares! We have seen this caring with the floods, fires that our friends or neighbours have lost homes, accidents that have taken people from us long before their time and when a devastating diagnosis is received the Minden community has been there. Now we have seen it again with OEYCGATE or DAYCAREGATE. It does look like the goal has been achieved, subject to a formal announcement tomorrow, but that does not take away the anxiety, the anger, the fear, the tears, the sleepless nights or the scars for all involved. For future parents and kids and the entire community we need to make the changes we can and lobby for those changes to be made county and province wide that are required to ensure this will never happen again, and not just in Minden, but to any parent in this province. If this 99% for sure deal falls apart then we will have to move to Plan "F" and "G", as A,B,C,D, & E seemed to be enough. ...Richard
