We invite you, Laura Sandys to the Port of Ramsgate to witness first hand the unimaginable suffering of these animals, who are bound across Europe on journeys often exceeding 74 hours, without food, water or sufficient space in which to even turn around. 

It is difficult to believe, until you see, that this extreme cruelty is allowed for and facilititated by UK law enforcement agencies. We, who attend the port regularly witness many sick, injured and critically lame animals pass through the port with each shipment. No regard is ever expressed for injuries, lameness or the ill health of the animals. The treatment of these animals cannot be considered humane, even by the furthest reach of one's reasoning.
