Launch a National Green Day

Launch a National Green Day
The Issue
We are all affected by the climate crisis. 2022 was the hottest year on record in the UK and July 2023 the hottest month on the planet. Everyone knows global warming is a huge problem but everyone disagrees on what to do about it.
A National Green Day won't solve the climate crisis but it will help raise awareness about global warming amongst children in the UK who will be those most affected. And it shouldn't cost the Government any money.
Based on the existing World Book Day, National Green Day will be a day dedicated to raising awareness about green issues in the UK. School children will be given a £1 National Green Token (like a National Book Token) to spend on green products (such as flower seeds and gardening tools) in participating stores. Schools can also hold green events supported by charities and business.
Please support our petition for a National Green Day.
