There are millions of people across America and Canada who are loyal viewers of Jeopardy! who unfortunately will never be able to experience what it’s like to be a Jeopardy! contestant on the Alex Trebek Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City.

While I was watching the recent series premiere of Celebrity Jeopardy! on ABC, I got to thinking that there should be a way for folks to experience what it’s like to be a Jeopardy! contestant without stepping onto the Alex Trebek Stage in Culver City.

I believe that the correct “response” (pun intended) to this thought is for Sony Pictures Television Studios to launch a Jeopardy! Live touring stage show that will give folks from New York City to San Francisco and Cleveland to Houston and Vancouver to Quebec City to experience what it’s like to be a Jeopardy! contestant without actually making it to the Alex Trebek Stage.

What has been proven with the successes of The Price is Right Live, Family Feud Live, What’s My Line Live and Wheel of Fortune Live is that people from New York City to San Francisco and Cleveland to Houston and Vancouver to Quebec City are willing to pay a pretty penny to have the opportunity to be a game show contestant without actually being on the actual television shows.  Jeopardy! Live can do the same thing.
