Help Alisha Clear her name

Help Alisha Clear her name

The Issue

Alisha was 15 years old (2002) when she was convicted of a crime  (as an adult) while in the hands of a Sex Trafficker.  She spent 16 years in prison for a crime she did not commit. Her Sex Trafficker was a 32 year old man in which they referred to as her "boyfriend" in court.  She was frightened by this man, they allowed this man to visit her during her trial to ask her to take a plea deal.  They allowed this young girl to receive letters from this man.  Remember she was 15 years old.  This man talked her into accepting a deal, which would lessen the time for him and take the death penalty off the table for him.  Not only were illegal actions performed but this young lady was stripped of valuable time in her life because the victim became the suspect.  We see and hear these stories way too often and now it's time we all can do something about it!  Let's support this young lady as she attempts to clear her name and get the Lifetime Parole off of her name.  This may in turn allow Alisha to visit her daughter whom was taken from her because of a violation of parole when she was younger.  Her daughter has now been adopted and she has not been allowed to visit with her because of her record, a record she did not deserve.

Sign the petition to help this young mother clear her name from a violent crime she did not commit, so she maybe able to spend time with her young daughter.  She is an amazing woman, who is now paying it forward by establishing a non-profit to help survivors of Human/Sex Trafficking.  Let's be a voice for those who have trouble getting their voice heard!  We at Blossom & Grow, LLC are advocates for Survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Sex/Human Trafficking will continue to encourage and stand by Alisha and other Survivors wrongly accused as well as encourage their healing from their trauma.  Please join us by signing.
