Discontinue Environmentally Harmful Road Deicing Methods in Mt Charleston, Nevada: 

We, the undersigned, do hereby petition for the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and Clark County Public Works to STOP using salt and other environmentally harmful chemicals and return to environmentally safe road maintenance methods. We understand that this change in practices will require adjustments in everyone’s expectations and driving habits, including our government agencies, residents and the visiting public, and we are willing to do our part in responsibly supporting these changes, for the sake of conserving the forest and ecosystems of the Mt. Charleston area.
