Lane Cove Council have secured a "license to harm" local magpie populations during nesting season. This means that the Australian native bird will be brutally murdered for performing their instinctive, parental duty.

This cannot be allowed to go ahead.

Killing this Australian icon in it's natural habitat is not only wrong, it's un-Australian. 

The chicks of the Adult magpies will be left to starve or be eaten by predators.
