Thank you to the fourteen activists who protested at the Downtown Aquarium this past Saturday! For those who couldn't make it, make sure to check out the video below featuring the protest. We have some good news to share from Landry's. Several months ago, we learned that the Association of Zoos and Aquariums is updating their tiger care standards and that the Downtown Aquarium will likely not meet the new standards. This week, we found out that Landry's agrees with our assessment and is considering several options, including the possibility of building a new exhibit or retiring the tigers.
