We are gathering signatures to support an honorary street sign for Landon Alexander Wallace at the intersection where he passed away.
To his family, friends, and community, Landon was—and always will be—more than the place or circumstances of his passing. His life was filled with love, connection, and memories that continue to live in those who knew him.
Landon was the official DJ for the Chicago Bulls, Power 92, Northwestern University, White Sox and one of the top Dj’s in Chicago’s nightlife. Everyday he showed up with a smile and his infectious energy using his passion for music to bring so many people together.
He worked alongside so many people, bringing people and communities together all while carrying a weight that was unbearable but not visible. After a long battle with his mental health in December of 2025 Landon unfortunately died by suicide.
A sign bearing his name would not only serve as a lasting tribute to his life and the love we carry for him, but a reminder of not only all he has done for Chicago but the importance of adequate Mental Health Care here in our City.
