Singapore LTA (Land Transport Authority) has decided to raise its tolls for all types of vehicles (except Motorcycles) travelling in and out of Woodlands Checkpoint starting from 1st OCT. We now have to pay $13 in toll for a round trip to malaysia and back.

And the reason they gave was that the Singapore goverment wants to match the Malaysian toll raise so as to ensure that both side get the same share from the causeway. Grab a copy of any local paper and see for yourselves. This is not due to any increase in cost of operations for the causeway, just plain tit for tat. 

I don't know if they have considered us (commuters) into account. People who travel to and fro across the causeway daily for work and bus companies that now have to raise prices to meet the cost of increase. Please support this petition!

If we do nothing, nothing will change. Don't just comment on facebook and forums. Go read up on the issue and share this petition to all your friends so that we can raise awarness and show the government that this is not acceptable!
