Last week, I finally got a twitter response (link - @JManjunathIAS)  from Deputy Commissioner - Bengaluru Urban District, Sri J Manjunath, I.A.S. in response to my #socialmedia outreach.

The tweet promises:  "Sir, I was unaware of this issue. Will find out where the same is kept pending and would definitely address the same on the next working day. We are committed towards providing a responsive administration. Thanks & regards,"

The Deputy Commissioner is the senior most administrator of Bengaluru Urban District and has the powers to review and approve long pending administrative issues. It has been a week since that response and I am hoping that he has set into motion the review and approval of this long pending issue.

A few weeks ago, there was a news article in @deccanherald that “the government created the post of Special Deputy Commissioner-3 expressly to help clear the huge pendency.”
