Its been a few weeks since @JManjunathIAS @dcbangalore responded to my #socialmedia outreach (link). The Tweet from J Manjunath IAS (Deputy Commissioner - Bengaluru Urban District) said: 

Sir, I was unaware of this issue. Will find out where the same is kept pending and would definitely address the same on the next working day. We are committed towards providing a responsive administration. Thanks & regards,

After this Tweet, my lawyer inquired about the status of the pending case with the office of DC, and was told that the a Special Deputy Commissioner is yet to take charge.

This impasse continues despite articles in @DeccanHerald and other papers - Bengaluru Urban DC needs 10 years to clear case pile-up.  The article said that “the government created the post of Special Deputy Commissioner-3 expressly to help clear the huge pendency.”  However, this was just another announcement with no follow up-action.
