Land O Lakes has removed the Native American Woman that has been on their packages for years. As a Native American I am very upset that Land O Lakes took the Native American lady off their butter. Why did they do this, just because some people who aren’t even Native American said it was racist?! So one can only honor a race if they are white?! The removal of the Native American girl is more racist than keeping her on the box. The Native Americans lady has been on the Land O Lakes packages for 100 years. All of a sudden as of this past February 2020 the Native American lady is no longer on their packages. This isn’t the first time a company has removed their Native American logo from their American company. Without Native Americans, America & their company would not exist. It is time to stand up to this injustice towards Native Americans.
