This is a petition to encourage American Girl and Mattel to open an American Girl store location in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania! Why Lancaster? Lancaster county in recent years has become a BOOMING tourist destination on the east coast, was voted one of the safest cities in America, and has a built in local community of AG fans! Lancaster has to offer many things such as:

•Hiking

•Susquehanna river

•Theme parks in and around the area.

•Outlet malls and shopping centers.

•Historic landmarks.

•Cartoon Network hotel and other resorts that are family friendly.

Why should the store be in Lancaster instead of Philadelphia or Hershey? Well, most parents are not going to drive their kids to Philadelphia and walk around the city with their children while holding $100 dolls because of safety concerns. And Hershey already had a store location that was an outlet. Now it’s time to create a flagship store in a new city that is now finally getting the recognition it deserves!

 I am not a Lancaster native but I’ve been multiple times and I strongly recommend American Girl and Mattel to consider Lancaster as a location for their next store!
