Problem
On the 13th December Lancashire County Council are due to table a motion to write to the Prime Minister to request that fracking be suspended in Lancashire until after an independent enquiry has taken place.

Solution
This petition is in support of the shale gas industry and the jobs and opportunities created, together with the boost to the local economy; also to provide security for our UK energy supplies, now and in the future.

We are calling on Lancashire County councillors to vote against this motion.
