After so long trying to get funding the right way I have decided to try and raise my own money for travel. It's not ideal but the only way I can visit her more than once a month. My target is so I can have an extra visit each month until may. I am doing this as a last resort and because lots of supporters have suggested it. It is extremely degrading. If by any amazing chance Rachael is moved closer to home or funding will be given to me by the NHS ,the local authorities or any other source then all the money unused on travel will go to a mental heath charity. Nothing much has changed for Rachael at all but my main reason for going ahead with this just giving page is because I can't afford to attend an MDT meeting and have once again had to beg professionals for money for travel. Last month I was given money to visit her from my family. I hope that this will embarrass the people with the purse strings but I doubt it. Unfortunately I doubt there is any money there for mental health anyway Thank you for sharing my petition and help raise these issues. p.s I spoke to Rachael on the phone today and she says all she want is to be closer to home and that she is so proud of me for trying to help her. Nothing is ever a secret from her and we speak about everything. All that is posted is run by her first In years to come when she is managing to cope she will want to thank everyone of you because that's how lovely she is. Thank you again
