If you regard a library service with professional staff important tonight (Thursday) there are two vigils for the Carnegie and Minet Libraries in Lambeth tonight. This is to mark their importance for communities and the flickers of candles will become a flame that will defend our libraries. If you remember ,the sign for the public library service in Upper Norwood is a flaming torch. Please carry a torch for your library service and don't let it be snuffed out.
