Hello friends and happy 2019, the year we will stop an asphalt plant from coming to the rural area of King County! 

Most of you know that Lakeside submitted their applications for permit in November. A notice of application ( Link to NOA) was sent out to select residents last week and the public comment period is here! At a meeting with DPER just before the holidays, we agreed to try and coordinate collection of comments. This will help ensure that all comments are received and read in a systematic way.

Below is a link to a google form. If you have not already sent in comments, please use this form to submit comments by January 29. There are links to the applications in each section, so please reference those as you are coming up with your comments. I will post them in the comments thread here as well.

One FAQ we have received is what is happening with the comments submitted last year? That original application is being cancelled. They are going to make every effort to transfer the comments; however, please feel free to resubmit them using the google form. You can copy and paste what you sent before.
