Petition updateStop the building of proposed asphalt plant in Renton on 169!Your Efforts Are Having An Impact – A BIG One

Friends, your letters to political leaders, donations, No Asphalt signs, and participation in community meetings and protests are having an impact – a BIG one. You may have noticed that all activity has stopped at the site for the proposed plant. In response to public pressure, the King County Department of Permitting and Environmental Review (DPER) has mandated that Lakeside Industries stop materials processing on the site. DPER has also requested a long list of documentation regarding wetlands, traffic, drainage, and more.
We ask that you keep the pressure up – we are making steady progress in our fight to keep our river and valley free of pollution.
We hope to see many of you at the community meeting on Saturday, July 14. (Join our Facebook page for complete details https://www.facebook.com/groups/SR169asphalt)
