Friends, In just about 10 days, the zoning moratorium on the asphalt plant lot on SR 169 will expire. At that point, if the King County Council does not do what is right and change the zoning on the lot or put a permanent moratorium on industrial uses on that lot, then Lakeside Industries can submit their permit application and become vested in their efforts to build an asphalt plant in our back yards, our beautiful rural community. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN! It is appalling that our elected King County Council officials are intentionally making a decision that is illegal and yet they are all allowed to remain in office. We have 10 days left to make our voices heard to implore the King County Council to do the right thing, before this becomes a more long drawn out legal battle. Join us!
