The Lakeland School District has been operating under its hybrid model since September 2020.  After nine months of emails, questions and conversations with administrators it is evident that our voices are not being heard.  Our children are at an obvious disadvantage.

The quality of education is inadequate with only 2 days in the classroom.  Families are struggling to work and provide supervision for their children.  Parents/caregivers and children are all suffering emotionally and financially.

Other school districts are finding ways to make it work.  

We urge the district to communciate with parents the re-opening efforts.
