Monday night, the City Council voted 6-2 to overturn the Historic Preservation’s unanimous vote. 

While the Council felt that overturning HPC would not set precedent, would end litigation, and would be the best solution for the 1/2 acre site in the historic residential neighborhood, Block The Box has strong concerns about how their decision impacts future development.  Like many of you, Block the Box believes the expertise of Lake Forest’s outstanding commissions have served our community well for decades. 

There will be more “boxes” built!
