Thanks everybody that has signed so far.  We all hope that the Lake County Commission will listen to the voices of the citizens that do not want this divisive item in our small, local, museum.

State Representative Geraldine Thompson has written to Governor DeSantis to recommend that the statue be displayed in the State owned Olustee Civil War Battlefield park and we agree!  Florida Citizens can learn far more about the history of the Civil War, Slavery, and Jim Crow in this environment than they can in a museum dedicated to the history of one county.
