Lagrange County Indiana is having a Zoning meeting July 21st at 7pm to hear a request to add another 100 female breeding facility. We believe this will put additional strain on a already overloaded humane community. Approving this variance would reflect even more poorly on the county. Relying on outside agencies to regulate an over whelming number dogs is impossible. The certificate or regulation does not have any legal enforcement abilities. The county should have the ability to regulate and enforce compliance. The Board of Zoning should not make the jobs of other county entities more difficult by approving a variance that they themselves can not ensure appropriate regulation.
